Stepson Defends Going To Blink-182 Concert After Being Slammed

Brian Szasz, the stepson of Hamish Harding, defended his actions. In a video shared on his Instagram Story, Szasz explained that he only has $100 to his name and has a “legal situation” preventing him from searching for his stepfather.

Furthermore, he explained that he had a ticket to the Blink-182 show and wanted a few hours of enjoyment before returning to the consistent news updates.

“It wasn’t like, I was having super fun, I wasn’t celebrating or having a great time. I was just listening to some of my all-time favorite songs, nodding my head, and maybe get off the phone for two hours or so,” he said in the clip.

The 36-year-old also expressed a sense of helplessness at the situation.

“The submarine is stuck at the bottom of the Titanic. There is nothing I can do for the situation at all,” he said.

Check out the text of Szasz’s initial tweet regarding the concert below.

“It might be distasteful being here… but my family would want me to be at the Blink-182 show as it’s my favorite band and music helps me in difficult times!”
