A Spokesperson Says The Tate Brothers Will “Vindicate Their Reputation”

According to The Washington Post, prosecutors announced the matter on Tuesday (June 20).

It’s directly related to accusations about Andrew and Tristan “misleading [injured persons] about the intention to establish a marriage/cohabitation relationship and the existence of real feelings of love.” Instead, prosecutors say that at least seven women were “sexually exploited” and exposed to “violence and mental coercion.”

In response to the indictment, a spokesperson for the Tate brothers acknowledged that they “embrace the opportunity” to “demonstrate their innocence.”

“While this news is undoubtedly predictable, we embrace the opportunity it presents to demonstrate their innocence and vindicate their reputation.”

The spokesperson added, “The indictment now allows us to present a comprehensive body of evidence, diligently collected and prepared over time, which will undoubtedly substantiate the brothers’ claims of innocence.”

Background On The Andrew Tate Case

This situation is the latest update in the overseas Tate case. As The Shade Room previously reported, authorities arrested Andrew, his brother, and two Romanian associates back in late 2022.

Prosecutors accused the Tate brothers of creating an “organized crime group” to ” exploit women by forcing them to create pornographic content.”

While Andrew Tate was in custody, authorities extended his detainment numerous times, as noted by The Guardian.

In March, authorities ultimately released Andrew and Tristan on house arrest. Now, they’re headed to trial over the matter.

Andrew Tate Chimes In On Twitter: “Today It’s Me. Tomorrow It’s You”

In response to his recent indictment, Andrew has had a lot to say on social media.

Once news broke, Tate declared, “I’m sure this case has absolutely nothing to do with stealing my wealth.”

This statement was explicitly in response to reports that authorities had confiscated about $380M in cryptocurrency and various cars, watches, and properties.

Additionally, Andrew Tate uploaded a six-and-a-half-minute video that attempted to call attention to select cases of male celebrities being accused of violence against women.

Some featured controversies honed in on stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Johnny Depp, and Neymar. Then, we see clips from coverage of Andrew Tate’s case before we see various women rushing to the brothers’ defense.

A message accompanied this video, which read, “Men. This isn’t about me. This isn’t about whether you like me or not. This is about all of us.”

He added, “Today it’s me. Tomorrow it’s you. Nobody is safe from these lies.”

Additionally, Andrew Tate has been busy retweeting statements on the situation. Peep some of the commentaries down below.

It’s currently unclear when the case will head to trial.
