Alijah Arenas Reportedly Rushed To Hospital
According to ESPN, officials responded to the scene at 4:55 a.m. after a Tesla Cybertruck reportedly slammed into a “tree/fire hydrant” in a Los Angeles neighborhood. Emergency responders pulled up after reports of a “trapped patient,” but by the time they arrived, Arenas had already made it out of the vehicle.
While the LAFD didn’t name the individual at the time, they confirmed an 18-year-old driver made it out of the vehicle before being rushed to the hospital in serious condition. The article further states that it’s still unclear what caused the crash, but Alijah was placed into an induced coma following the accident. Sources reportedly confirmed to ESPN that the driver was indeed Alijah Arenas, and thankfully, early medical tests showed no broken bones. Per TMZ, Arenas was reportedly placed in the induced coma due to smoke inhalation.
According to TMZ, dispatch audio from the incident describes the scary scene.
