Shortly before the Spring of 2023, Blxst released his Just For Clarity 2 EP. With the summer in full swing, the Los Angeles talent returns with the focus track “child of GOD.”
Also guesting Remble, Blxst revealed to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that he took an atypical path with the single. “It is one of those songs where I just allowed myself to be vulnerable, so I’m glad to share with the world,” he begins. “The dichotomy between him and me, it’s just like good and evil. People love to see those things meshed together. And even on ‘child of GOD,’ that was the constant theme in the song, seeing the good, no matter what evil you’re surrounded by.”
