Blue Ivy Carter made her Renaissance World Tour debut over the weekend to the delight of her family, including tour-headlining mother Beyoncé. During Beyoncé’s Paris stop on Friday night (May 26), the 11-year-old came to the stage during the breakdown of “My Power” from Bey’s 2019 The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack. Blue Ivy also joined her mother for “Black Parade,” which appeared on the deluxe edition of the aforementioned soundtrack in 2020. Blue Ivy also guest-starred in the accompanying visual albumBlack Is King.

Blue Ivy bravely danced in front of the Stade de France crowd, which included Megan Thee Stallion, Pharrell Williams, Lenny Kravitz, and more. Also giving their moral support from the crowd was Blue Ivy’s father JAY-Z and younger sibling Rumi. Rumi’s twin Sir was not spotted during the show.

The concert wouldn’t be the first time this year that Blue Ivy performed with her mother; in January, she performed “Brown Skin Girl” with Bey during the private Dubai performance during the unveiling of luxury hotel resort, Atlantis The Royal. The engagement also marked Bey’s first live performance in four years.

Earlier this month, The Renaissance World Tour began in Stockholm, where Bey performed 37 hits, including selections from her seventh album, which was released last July. As the tour continues to make its way through Europe until July 9, Bey will begin the North American leg on July 12 in Philadelphia, with additional stops in Nashville, Chicago, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Inglewood and Houston before wrapping up in New Orleans on September 27.
