Wearing a brown dress with cape-style sleeves and delicate embroidery, Miriam de Ungría actively participated in this party that took place at the Zahran Palace in Amman, which will also be one of the wedding venues. Very smiling, she sat down with other close friends and did not stop clapping along with the approximately 600 women present, among which stood out Queen Rania and her two daughters, princesses Imán and Salma. The jewelry designer watched with great enthusiasm the protagonist of the evening, in which nine professionals were in charge of making tattoos on the hands of the assistants with henna.

Prince Hussein’s wedding comes nine months after another Jordanian royal wedding: that of Miriam de Ungría and Ghazi bin Muhammad, who occupies the eighteenth position in the line of succession. After a romance that was kept in the strictest privacy, came the also discreet “I do”, which was held at the Royal Palace in Amman. Accompanying the bride and groom were King Abdallah, Princes Hassan bin Talal and Talal bin Muhammad and the children of the bride, princes Boris and Beltrán. The happy news was announced by the Hashemite Court, which wished the couple its most “sincere congratulations and a life full of happiness.” The jewelery designer, who lost her husband Kardam of Bulgaria in 2015, is now Princess Maryam Al Ghazi.

It is expected that next Thursday, Miriam de Ungría is also part of the list of attendees at the link of the future King of Jordan, which will bring together numerous members of European royalty like the kings Juan Carlos and Sofia; King William and Máxima of the Netherlands, with his daughter Amalia, Princess of Orange; Frederick and Mary from Denmark; Victoria and Daniel from Sweden; and Haakon from Norway, among others. The wedding will take place in two settings: Zahran Palace and Al Husseiniya Palace. The first of them, which is currently used for official functions, is the same place where Kings Abdalá and Rania were married in June 1993.
