 New Money, Who Dis?

Yessica Arrua, 29, was living her best life at the Palm Beach Equine Clinic—until the law came trotting after her. The Wellington receptionist, whose annual salary was actually $60,000, is now facing grand theft and money laundering charges of $100,000 or more. According to reports, she allegedly pocketed $416,291.05 in accidental overpayments between 2022 and 2023. And, instead of waving the red flag, she reportedly treated the coins like “a bonus” and splurged on luxury shopping, dining, and even a whole $80,000 food truck for her mama’s friend.
Meanwhile, the vet who was making $450K a year finally clocked the missing money and somehow didn’t notice anything wrong until her credit cards declined. Apparently, she also didn’t notice that the $245,322.91 bonus meant for her never arrived either.

Social Media Ain’t Mad At Yessica

The internet is buzzing with folks defending Yessica, saying the whole mess is on the clinic and payroll company for letting this overpayment slide for so long. Additionally, People are wondering how a $450K-a-year vet didn’t even notice the missing money while the receptionist got caught up in the chaos. From ikyfl.tv’s Instagram comments to X, the mood online is all about why the receptionist is the one taking the fall.

Yessica Went From Paycheck To Plot Twist!

According to the police report, Yessica Arrua didn’t just ball out for herself—she spread the wealth too. Thousands were sent to “Mama Dukes” via Zelle, and the “gift from god” allegedly made its way to Argentina, for her family to build a house. To top it off, when police finally got in touch with the payroll company, Harbor America, they learned that folks with knowledge of the error were no longer employed.

Meanwhile, the clinic’s president, who’s known Yessica since she was nine years old, turned her in after she got caught slippin’. When confronted, she reportedly broke down, admitted everything, and handed over a $200K cashier’s check. Additionally, she claimed the rest was long gone. Now, sis is reportedly sitting in Palm Beach’s detention center.
