Roommates, it looks like Elon Musk is ready to put his issues with Donald Trump to the side. The Tesla boss previously aired out the president on his own app, X (formerly Twitter), even suggesting that Trump’s name was allegedly listed in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Did Elon Musk Just Hit Undo On His Shade Towards Donald Trump?
Now, it appears that Elon Musk is backpedaling on some of the stuff he said about Donald Trump online. The Shade Room caught a post where he straight-up admitted, “I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far.”
Elon hasn’t revealed what led him to share his new message, but folks online think Trump might’ve had something to do with him doubling back on what he previously said.
Elon’s Earlier Statements About Trump
Elon Musk’s so-called regret comes after trash-talking Trump in a string of shady posts. First, he had the internet going off with reactions after claiming Trump is named in the Jeffrey Epstein files. Then he doubled down on that by reposting a clip of Trump looking like he was partying with Epstein.
Elon’s post seemingly came after he publicly criticized Donnie’s “Big Beautiful Bill.” During a meeting at the White House with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Trump told reporters that Elon fully supported the bill after having previously seen it. But Elon wasn’t having it and hopped on X to say that he never saw it. “False, this bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the dead of night so fast that almost no one in Congress could even read it!”
He even added that Trump would’ve taken an L in the 2024 election if he didn’t back him up. “Without me, Trump would have lost the election, Dems would control the House and the Republicans would be 51-49 in the Senate.”
