While some celebrities are distancing themselves from Diddy, others are sticking beside him and making their support public knowledge.
Diddy has been in jail for over a month, indicted on charges of racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution, but his legal saga started sometime before that.
Last fall, news came out about Cassie and Diddy reaching a settlement behind what Cassie stated was years of abuse, sexual assault, and entrapment. Earlier this year, video footage of Diddy beating and dragging Cassis at a hotel surfaced, which horrified viewers and corroborated Cassie’s claims of abuse. Not long after that, the mogul’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided, and in September, he was arrested in New York and has not been able to make bail after a district judge denied multiple appeals.
In addition to the indictment, several other people have filed lawsuits against Diddy, and there’s even a Diddy hotline set up by a law firm hoping to obtain more victims for the case. Obviously, none of this looks good for Diddy, who could be facing life in prison, and has also been the subject of judgment, and “no Diddy” jokes. However, there are some folks out there who have decided to give Brother Love some grace.
Hit the flip for eight people who have spoken out in support of the Diddler.
Janice Combs
Puff’s mom released a statement suggesting that her son is innocent and that what’s happening is a “public lynching of her son.” She didn’t mention anything about the footage of her baby laying hands on Cassie, though.
“These lies thrown at him are motivated by those seeking a financial gain, and not justice,” said Janice Combs in her statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “These individuals saw how quickly my son’s civil legal team settled his ex-girlfriend’s lawsuit, so they believe they can receive a quick payday by falsely accusing my son. False allegations of sexual assault thwart true victims of sexual violence from getting the justice they deserve. To make matters worse, the federal government is now using these lies to prosecute my son.”
Janice continued,
“This injustice has been unbearable for our family. The worst part of this ordeal is watching my beloved son be stripped of his dignity, not for what he did, but for what people choose to believe about him.”
Naturally, Diddy kids are supporting him as well.
Boosie Badazz
Father of the Year Lil Boosie suggested that Diddy got arrested for doing “what every famous entertainer has done.”
“I feel DIDDY N JAIL FOR BASICALLY DOING WHAT EVERY OTHER FAMOUS ENTERTAINER HAS DONE,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “FLEW BI**HES OUT FOR 3 SOMES’ HE JUST FREAKIER.”
IF THATS THE CASE THATS 80% OF THE WOMEN READING THIS .N TRAFFICKING #hellna,” he added. “YOU’RE A CELEBRITY YOU GOTTA FLY P***Y N ,HOW ELSE U GOT GET THE P***Y? YOURE NEVER N ONE PLACE WHEN I SAW THAT VIDEO I WAS PISSED OFF AT THIS NI**A LIKE HE REALLY GOT A PROBLEM. BUT FACING ‘LIFE N PRISON’ FOR DOING BASICALLY WHAT SO MANY OTHER ENTERTAINER HAS DONE #idisagree.”
i feel DIDDY N JAIL FOR BASICALLY DOING WHAT EVERY OTHER FAMOUS ENTERTAINER HAS DONE “FLEW BITCHES OUT FOR 3 SOMES “HE JUST FREAKIER‼️WE ACTUALLY GO CALL WOMEN PROSTITUTES WHO FLY N WILLINGLY TO BE WITH THEY PARTNERS FOR SEX? IF THATS THE CASE IF U BEEN FLEWED ✈️ OUT N HAD SEX…

That’s a lot of charges and accusations, so if non-consensual freakiness is what every famous entertainer is up to then lock them all up.
Faizon Love
Big Worm condemned the footage of Diddy beating the brakes off Cassie, but he apparently still has questions. There’s one question, in particular, that he’d like an answer to: “How is being nasty a crime?”
Dude, look at the case files. It’s deeper than just being freaky.
Umar Johnson
According to the High Priest of Afrocentricity, Diddy’s freakoffs are no different than Hugh Heffner’s. He also suggested that Diddy is being racially targeted in a systematic takedown because he sued Diageo.
At this point, anything is possible but we’ll all have to watch how this situation plays out.
Stevie J
Stevie J defended Diddy in the spring when his homes were raided by Homeland Security.
The longtime Bad Boy producer was in the Miami home when that raid went down, and mentioned that the event was traumatic. Stevie J was named in a lawsuit filed by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones but hasn’t been indicted on any charges.
As far as Diddy goes, Stevie J told Fox 5 News, “My man would never break the law. We’re law-abiding citizens,” and went on to say that this is just another takedown of a successful Black man. In another interview for TMZ, he stated that he has never seen Diddy doing anything foul, and called 50 Cent an “Uncle Tom” for repeatedly calling Diddy out on social media.
Hit the flip for more.
Khia
Unsurprisingly, the queen of all internet trolls has taken a stance on the matter, and as it relates to Cassie she sides with Diddy. In an empathy-free rant, she said that Cassie should have run for the hills the first time she got violated and drugged but she stayed for 10 years because she wanted a music career. Thug Misses added that Diddy should have gone to Bali to avoid extradition.
@noshadeallt #Khia sounds off on #Cassie 👀🐸☕️ #Diddy #NoDiddy #fy #4upage
Uncle Luke
Mr. “Pop that P” himself has also shared his thoughts about what has been going on with Diddy. He is also of the mindset that this is a systematic takedown of a successful Black man. He seems to believe that Diddy’s Diageo lawsuit put a target on his back. In other words, Diddy bit the hand that fed him and now the chickens have come home to roost.
Tyrese
Tyrese’s approach has been less conspiratorial than some of the other folks. Instead of spouting off conspiracy theories and victim blaming, he wrote, in a social media post, back in the spring, that he did not condone or support abuse, bullying, or sexual harassment, but that he was praying for Diddy, his kids, his family, his mother, and the alleged victims. He added that Diddy has been nothing but kind and generous toward him.
