Here’s What Happened To Tiffany Floyd & Her 4-Year-Old Daughter
According to the New York Post, Floyd took her daughter to a Burger King drive-thru in Getzville on Friday, July 26.
“All I heard was, ‘Mom, I don’t want ketchup,’ so I grabbed her bag, thinking that they messed up our order again, and I looked, and there was just blood all over her hamburger, all over the wrapper. I looked inside the bag, there’s blood on her toys, everything,” Floyd told the outlet. “So I instantly told her to spit out her food. She did have fries and a bit of her hamburger. And then I looked at my meal, and there was blood on mine, too.”
Floyd reportedly called the location afterward and spoke to a manager named Dan. Dan allegedly informed her that a cook “cut his hand, and he was bleeding.” Additionally, Floyd alleged that the manager apologized and offered to refund her money.
Furthermore, the mother spoke with her daughter’s pediatrician, who informed her that the 4-year-old would have to wait 30 days to be blood tested for any potentially contracted diseases.
“And then get her blood work done every so often for a year to see if something comes up,” she said. “If they just make him go and get tested, my daughter would not have to get pricked.”
According to Floyd, the Burger King location was unwilling to reveal the identity of the employee who got blood on their food.
Burger King Releases Statement
Floyd subsequently took to TikTok to share her experience, warning that plenty of people were allegedly in line at the establishment ahead and behind her. Furthermore, the mother also shared that she reported the incident to the Niagara County Department of Health.

According to the New York Post, an initial response from Burger King showed the company offered to pay for the 4-year-old’s medical expenses. Additionally, the company released a lengthy statement.
“We were deeply upset and concerned to learn of this incident. We have been in contact with the Guest and are working with her to resolve this incident. This incident was the result of a team member in the restaurant who injured his finger, and upon noticing immediately stepped away. We closed the restaurant to retrain all the team members and hired an external company to complete a deep cleaning. We expect the restaurant to re-open Monday and are fully paying team members for any lost shifts during this temporary shut down,” the statement read.
