Offset & Quavo are spotted together for the first time since Takeoff’s passing to celebrate the late rapper’s birthday.
When Takeoff was murdered in Houston last year it was during a confusing time when the MIGOS were broken up with not much known publicly about the split. The last time the world saw all three members together was for Kanye West’s DONDA 2 event in Miami last February.
That would also mark the last time we received new music from all three members. Rumors loomed that Offset was in a legal battle with their label Quality Control to embark on a solo career. When Quavo performed his tribute to Takeoff at the Grammys video surfaced allegedly showing the aftermath of a scuffle between him and Offset. Allegedly Offset tried to be on stage for the tribute but was stopped by Quavo. In the video that surfaced Cardi B could be heard yelling they both were in the wrong.
When Cardi was asked what happened she played it off like everything was fine. Since then neither of the remaining Migos have been seen together until this weekend. The two remaining members were spotted at a celebration for Takeoff’s birthday.
After the seemingly nasty split just seeing the two together gives hope they can reconcile in the future. Hopefully, the saying “time heals all” is true in this situation. Just seeing the two together again brought joy to fans all over social media.
For an extra dose of hope of a reunion, we can take Quavo posting a picture with Offset on Instagram as a good sign.
